Redirect Tool

Overview

The Redirect Tool is an LTI that allows instructors to create their own navigational items within their Canvas course sites. These items consist of links to external websites that instructors want students to be able to easily access. Please note that this tool should not be used to create a link to another Canvas course site or page as this will cause transfer issues between semesters.

Installation Instructions 

Go to  course settings, click on the "Navigation" tab, find the tool you want in your course, and then click the 3 dots on the right and choose "enable." Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
