Instructure will perform scheduled maintenance on the SCORM service in Canvas from Friday, October 30, through Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Maintenance Window:

  • Start: Friday, October 30, at 10:00 PM ET

  • End: Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 PM (noon) ET

What to Expect:

During this maintenance window, instructors will be unable to upload or import new SCORM packages into Canvas.

Existing SCORM content will remain available. Students can continue to access and complete previously uploaded SCORM activities, and scores will continue to be recorded in the Canvas Gradebook.

All other Canvas functionality is expected to remain operational.

Action Required:

No action is required. However, instructors planning to upload new SCORM content are encouraged to complete those imports before the maintenance window or wait until maintenance is complete.

This maintenance will update the SCORM service to improve stability, compatibility, and ongoing support.
