Qualtrics @UF: Getting Started
This workshop is the first in a two-part series. Participants will learn how to create and edit a basic survey, when and how to utilize Page Break and Block, and how to effectively distribute surveys, view results and finally manage reports. Everyone will have an opportunity to practice through hands-on activities throughout the class.

This workshop is the second in the two-part series. Participants will dive deeper in the Qualtrics advanced functions and learn how to use skip, display, branch logics, and question randomization. Through hands-on exercises, participants will develop advanced surveys and practice customizing surveys using piped text and embedded data.

UF’s Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) manages a campus-wide calendar. Free training is being offered to help the UF community use the calendar. Faculty and staff can learn to manage event submissions, request a department calendar, and leverage all the features of the calendaring tool. This is a live, instructor-led webinar.
The UF calendar can be found at https://calendar.ufl.edu/ and on the UF homepage. This is a great promotional option available to departments and organizations for advertising events to a broad audience. UF’s calendar provides a centralized system where events can be submitted for maximum exposure.

- Teaching with Technology Certificate of Completion
UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) is offering its Teaching with Technology certificate of completion program. This online series is comprised of two trainings that explore ways to increase student engagement and improve instructor presence by providing participants with strategies and tools to create a technology-enhanced learning environment.
This program begins May 15.
- Technology to Improve Instructor Presence (5/15 – 5/28)
Participants will explore strategies and tools to create an effective online instructor presence and incorporate technology into teaching. Participants will practice creating engaging and interactive instructional videos.
- Technology to Captivate Students (5/30 – 6/11)
Participants will review strategies to engage diverse learners and build a learning community using technology. The workshop materials and activities will explore ways to improve student engagement and promote student feedback.
