Suitable

Overview 

Suitable is a student engagement platform that helps connect students with relevant opportunities—such as clubs, events, internships, internships, and mentoring—through a single interface. It includes personalized recommendations, event management with RSVP, targeted notifications and reminders, student dashboards to track engagement, and analytics for administrators. Functions 

Suitable has a modern and intuitive interface, making it easy for users to navigate, find information, and track progress/participation grades. It seamlessly connects to Canvas, allowing for assignments to be added with just a few clicks, and provides a mobile app for students. 

 
Instructional Considerations 

• Only students can use the Suitable mobile app, but admins can access Suitable via a mobile web browser. 
• Instructors will need to manually sync their content at the beginning of each semester. 
• Students can opt out of having their information listed on the leaderboard.  
• Complexity or learning curve: Simple 
• Accessibility: Suitable claims to meet industry standards regarding LTI accessibility and WCAG 2.1 international standards.
