Google Assignments

Overview 

The Google Assignments LTI allows the following uses of G Suite through Canvas:

• Create Google Assignment
• Add a G Suite file to a module
• View your Google Drive files within Canvas
• Create a link to or embed a file from Google Drive into a page, assignment, announcement, quiz, or discussion

An authorized connection of your Gatorlink account to a G-Suite for Education account should be selected. Visit the GatorCloud G Suite page for a list of Google products that can be used independently of Canvas.

Using Google Assignments 

Create an assignment in Canvas and select "External Tool" for the submission type. Click "Find" and select "Google Assignment (LTI 1.3)".
