The Ment.io discussion platform uses an AI-based algorithm to structure, monitor, and help instructors filter through interactions and grade discussions, evaluating participants behavior based on level of collaborations, thoroughness, clarity, and balance and may help students develop their analytical skills. This tool can be used to engage students in deeper discussions while simplifying the grading process and potentially making discussions more scalable for larger enrollment courses.  

Due to lack of communication from the vendor during the review process, this tool has been withdrawn and is no longer under consideration.
