Pearson Access allows instructors and students to access Pearson products like MyLab and Mastering, Revel, and other resources through Canvas. Instructors who would like to adopt a Pearson product for use in their course may do so by enabling Pearson Access in their course, and then selecting the materials they wish to use. Instructors may also contact their Pearson representative for assistance in selecting a product. Instructors may connect the product to their Canvas course by following the installation steps below
Since there are many tools associated with Pearson Access, the one you select may or may not have been reviewed by an educational technology expert at UF to determine whether it poses barriers to students with disabilities. To comply with UFIT's EITCA policy, we recommend that you request an accessibility consultation so that we can discuss this with you and help you anticipate how to address the needs of your students.
Go to course settings, click on the "Navigation" tab, find Pearson Access, and then click the 3 dots on the right and choose "enable". Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. Click on Pearson Access in the navigation sidebar and follow the prompts to connect the Pearson product being used.
