ProctorU monitors for academic integrity violations in online exams by using live proctors, as well as technology and reporting tools. ProctorU offers several options for instructors to record online exams to prevent cheating. Instructors can review the recordings, and the private incident reports for quick review of suspicious activity. Students schedule appointment times to complete their ProctorU exams during the allotted exam times set by instructors within Canvas.
Go to course settings, click on the "Navigation" tab, find the tool you want in your course, and then click the 3 dots on the right and choose "enable." Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
