Engage students with PowerPoint or other multimedia presentations created by an instructor or their peers. Canvas integration allows for a collection of presentations embedded within the course as well as the set-up of graded assignments for student presentation creation or requiring commenting on a specific presentation. Comments can be placed in specific places so as each person watches the presentation the related discussion stays together and is available for the next viewer.

I’m ready to import assignments from a previous semester:
If you have not yet imported the VoiceThread assignments you want to use from a previous semester, follow these instructions on course copying.

If you already set up your Fall 2023 Canvas course using the previous version of VoiceThread, the links to your activities will copy over to the new course, but they will not be configured. You will need to go back into each link and set up the activity again. This is the same process that was used to set up the activities in the original course. You will need to repeat that process for each activity.
If your course has many VoiceThread assignments, please contact eLearning Support to discuss migration options.
