Pressbooks

Overview

Instructors can integrate media-enhanced eBooks into a course through Modules or External Tools Assignments. The eBook can be public/OER texts or your own content (public or published privately). Media integrations can include activities such as H5P quizzing and social annotation (Hypothes.is) or accessible math markup (MathJax or TablePress). However, all activity logs are within Pressbooks and not Canvas (i.e., Canvas gradebook integration is not available at this time). You can also integrate Pressbooks or chapters via external URL.

This tool is available via Assignments -> External Tools and also via Modules -> External Tools.
