If you have upgraded your browser but still see the warning banner, try logging out of Canvas and deleting your browser cookies. Please contact the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-4357 or via e-mail at helpdesk@ufl.edu if you need assistance.
There could be a couple of reasons why you don't see your course in e-Learning.
If you are still unable to find your course, and none of these circumstances apply, please contact the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-HELP(4357).
It is recommended that you take online assessments during UF Computing Help Desk hours whenever possible. If you have a problem while taking an Assessment, log out and log back in as quickly as possible. If the assessment is timed, the timer will continue to run while you are logged out. If you still encounter difficulties, take a screenshot of the problem so the Help Desk can investigate and you will have proof of the problem for your Instructor. Call the UF Computing Help Desk (352-392-4357) immediately.

Canvas uses the “Display Name” as set in myUFL. The Display Name is what you want people to see in the UF Directory, such as “Ally” instead of “Allison.” To update your display name, go to one.ufl.edu, click on the dropdown at the top right, and select “Directory Profile.” Click “Edit” on the right of the name panel, uncheck “Use my legal name” under “Display Name,” update how you wish your name to be displayed, and click “Submit” at the bottom.
This change may take up to 24 hours to appear in Canvas.
